this isn’t a prescriptive book per se telling you the do’s and do not’s of PanAfrican ideology but instead Toyin‘s personal thoughts, feelings and observations on PanAfricanism and Africanism in general tackling the subject from multiple perspectives

apart from the amount of wisdom in this book, it’s the emotion investment that really gets me. every page feels so loaded with time, experience, time and energy. sometimes its an exhausting read when you think of what it must have taken to be put together

I don’t agree with everything within its pages but this has now become an indipensible part of the Teiko library :-). I can already see myself pulling it out for reference over and over again…
