This year, ‘Father’s Day’ falls on the Anniversary of the ‘Soweto Uprising / Massacre’

as young, indigenous Africans took to the streets to rightfully protest about their right to be self-determinant in their own land, they were indiscriminately shot upon by the police and army. many never made it home to their father’s that day. over 500 actually. can you imagine what that feels like?
