I also heard the entire advance for this sophomore release was £3 million. I initially balked (plus nearly choked) but given the two big names involved in this lead off single, I can see where the money may have been allocated
in the BBC 1Xtra interview with Mistajam (where it was debuted), he said something along the lines of his new album (Demonstration) letting people know how his life has changed and all the crazy new things he has been experiencing. his life has definitely changed from when I interviewed him in East London back in 2007 (?). he’s done well for himself
